Sell-out Tour! The Twins are now wowing audiences in China.Back in April a 40ft shipping container a stacked full of illusions was sent to China ready for The Twins arrival. The sold out show “Aladdin’s magical 3D adventure” has a cast and crew of over 30 and tours key cities of China for the next 3 months. The production visits venues with a capacity from between 2000 to 40000 people. The Governor (comedian Ted Robbins) is in charge of this prison where talented entertainers are incarcerated. Four exceptional acts perform in a "Freedom Show" for the chance to be released! The Twins performed an astonishing levitation in front of an amazed and dumbfounded Parole Board of 50 children who decided which act got released. Once the votes came in it was clear that The Twins had won the prize of freedom by a huge lead (no other magic act has achieved this!). One of the Parole Board members screamed "they are TWINTASTIC!" The Pantomime season is all over, and The Twins, winners of the prestigious World Magic Awards International Stage Magicians of the year, are now involved in the planning stages of Pantomimes across the length and breadth of the country for this Christmas. TJ Roberts jnr. as one of The Twins The Twins’ magical special effects have been helping to break box office records in Christmas productions across the UK including Irving Berlin's White Christmas in Plymouth and Manchester, Santa Claus and the Return of Jack Frost in Southampton, Jack and the Beanstalk in Bradford, Sleeping Beauty in Birmingham, Cinderella in Newcastle and Robin Hood in Cardiff to name but a few. The Twins' characters have also featured in a number of spoof Panto’s shows. TJ Roberts jnr. from the famous circus family took on the role at the Alhambra Theatre Bradford to the laughter of the packed house! With the New Year upon us The Twins are gearing up for major events this year including a visit to China. The Twins will also be special effects co-coordinators on a new feature film. International Stage Magicians of the year! The Twins have just been awarded one of entertainment’s elite awards - International Stage Magicians of the year! This award was presented to The Twins at the prestigious World Magic Awards in America, at one of Los Angeles’ largest TV studios. The very large trophy cause few interesting questions from U.S and U.K customs The two hour event has already been televised nationally across America in November 2009 will be televised in 2010 worldwide, including the U.K.

6 MONTHS OF PLANNING ! May 2009

Wow”; “Amazing”; “unbelievable”; these are just a few of the comments of Birmingham Hippodrome's 3rd Gala Dinner - and it was all due to The Twins, Europe’s hottest illusionists. After 6 months in the planning, a cast and crew of over 30 people, state of the art sound and lights and 20 of The Twins’ illusions, left the audience spellbound and ecstatic! The theatre was dark for seven days to accommodate this high profile event. The Twins had two special stages built: one in the auditorium and one in the dining area, which was on the Hippodrome's main stage: “It has become a bookmarked for further European “Magical events” said Gary “ We're planning another 2 events on the same scale for the summer” added Paul. This month, after a number of bespoke illusion shows and planning Pantomime seasons across the U.K, The Twins are now working on a truly memorable event for one of their high profile clients. The event will be held over 3 day in one of the U.K’s biggest theatres in May. All cut up ! January 2009

During a chance conversation The Twins discovered that Stefanie Powers, had been let down by the late Harry Blackstone. Blackstone was one of the most popular television illusionists in the States for a number of decades, he had promised to cut Stefanie in half but sadly this was never achieved. The Twins own a number of illusions that used to belong to Harry Blackstone including a cutting a girl in half illusion called “The Zig Zag Girl”. So, to mark the Harbin Centenary Celebrations at The Magic Circle this year, The Twins cut Stefanine into three pieces using a Zig Zag illusion. The Twins own a large collection of rare books on Magic and Illusions including The Magic of Robert Harbin number 193. “It was great to be cut in half but the flying effect that The Twins have created is a truly magical moment. The Twins “Europe’s Hottest Illusionists” were commissioned by a women’s underwear company for a photo shoot this month! They had to levitate some well known models on a beach in Mexico. “It was hard work, we really caused such a stir with the locals on such a superb beach with crystal blue waters as a backdrop, but the photos look great!” commented Gary. The advertisement campaign will start in the December through out Europe. The Twins very lucky indeed to be asked up onto the flight deck (as the photograph shows) by the Captain on there return flight home. The Captain and his family had seen The Twins on BBC1’s Bafta winning television programme “The Slammer” which had the recently be shown, yet again The Twins had won the prize of freedom by a huge lead, no other magic/illusion act has achieved this still! Touching down across America The Twins have injected their magical know how into The Greatest Family musical of all time, "THE WIZARD OF OZ". A brand new production of this all time classic is touching down across America from October for a 10 month tour. Based on the Royal Shakespeare Company’s celebration of the 1939 MGM movie the production features some breathtaking special effects that will sweep audiences away from the moment the tornado hits Kansas! The Twins are storming P&O’s Oceana, performing three shows per night instead of the usual two. The shows have been packed full with no standing room in Oceana’s main theatre! “It’s great to see a venue packed to the rafters; the atmosphere is electric from start to finish” Paul explained. Bob’s Your Uncle, Children’s Entertainer Extraordinaire Bob’s Your Uncle, Children’s Entertainer Extraordinaire was in a fix this month as The Twins “Europe’s Hottest Illusionists” squeezed him in one of their photo shoot illusions onboard P & O’s Oceana. The Twins have been performing this illusion for over 3000 kids over the last few months and remarked: “Adults and children alike love this illusion. This month sees The Twins cruising the high seas once again on one of the world’s most luxurious cruise liners the M.V Oceana with the largest Illusion show afloat. The Rampaging Hulk! June 2008

To coincide with the new film “The Incredible Hulk” showing at cinemas from June, Marvel / Qdos Entertainments have produced a brand new touring stage show. The Twins have acted as creative consultants on this production. The show features some bespoke illusions designed and built by The Twins for the Marvel Characters including Dr. Bruce Banner and of course the giant, rampaging Hulk! Gary said “This production has been very challenging but our hard work has paid off; the illusions are stunning!

Christopher Biggins and Matthew Kelly takes to the sky! PANTO stars Christopher Biggins and Matthew Kelly made a dramatic entrance at the Mayflower Theatre with the help of The Twins at the launch of Cinderella the Musical Pantomime this week - in The Twins' very own helicopter. "As the helicopter suddenly appears at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton pure amazement flashes across the audience's faces - it's truly remarkable!" Weighing some 1,370 pounds and 29 feet long, this two-seater £200,000 Robinson's R22 helicopter was finally revealed with Matthew Kelly in the driving seat! The Twins are famed for their large scale illusions and revealed they will be returning to the Mayflower theatre to conjure up some special illusions again for this year's show. Cinderella the Musical Pantomime will be showing from December 5 to January 17.

Flying High! November 2007

Blade runners! The Twins are off to Spain at the end of November to take part in a Christmas Television show! Being shipped over are; the brand new illusion “Acceleration” and The Twins' very own appearing Robinson R22 Helicopter. “We have been performing the helicopter illusion for over 9 years now” said Gary “Wow its fast and it will look cool when the steady camera turns 360 degrees around our Helicopter in the studio” add Paul.

The Twins are still at present cruising on one of the worlds most luxurious cruise liners “Performing on cruise ships is great fun, so many new places to see” said Gary “it’s just magical” add Paul! With a truly unique start the stage erupting in smoke and fire, then the sudden appearance of The Twins. The Twins and Mark Parker take a look at Acceleration! “Acceleration” is the new illusion from The Twins, which is wowing audiences on board P & 0’s flagship the Aurora. Acceleration is a lighting appearance of a Super Bike, which was specially imported from Japan! With a contemporary style, this illusion took over 6 months in design and build. “The looks across the audience’s faces as the Super Bike appears is amazing” explained Paul.

The Twins this month are wowing audiences with their brand new illusion, “Acceleration”. Acceleration is one on the many highlights of The Twin’s show on board MV Aurora. The Twins have also been enjoying Russian hospitality over the last few weeks. Paul says “travelling in Russia is a real eye opener; it is such an interesting place”. The Twins will carry on cruising around the Baltic until the end of the month moving on to the Iceland and the Fjords! Acceleration!

Colin Wood trying ACCELERATION! The largest Illusion show ever afloat had its premiere last week on P & O’s Flag ship the Aurora! Loading the show onto the ship took over 7 hours with a team of 10 men aiding The Twins in this logistical nightmare. The show has taken up over half of the backstage storage space and will be running for over 8 months on the Aurora. During their initial cruise, The Twins were assisted by their own production team including Colin Wood, The Twins’ Lighting Director. UK based RNT Music Studios were also on hand, to create a powerful soundtrack and the team from Hallmark Productions Ltd supplied stunning a audio visual interaction. In the words of The Twins’ Personal Assistant Joanna “ the first 2 weeks have been very successful. The Twins are performing previously unseen illusions, including "ACCELERATION!"

The Twins with Paul Rafferty The Twins were joined on board the Arcadia by the eminent artist Paul Rafferty, who came on board to give a number of lectures. Gary has been collecting Fine Art for a number of years and has a number of pieces by Paul Rafferty in his collection. ACCESS TO SUCCESS! August 2006

The Twins this month are wowing audiences with their brand new illusion, “Access” which was made in Las Vegas especially for The Arcadia. “Access” is one on the many highlights of the twin’s show “Allusion.” The Twins have also been enjoying Russian hospitality over the last few weeks. Gary says “Being in Russia is a real eye opener; it is such an interesting place to visit”. The Twins will carry on cruising around the Baltic until the end of the month.

Flash Bang Wallop what a picture! July 2006

Pole position! Sailing the high sea this month on the Arcadia took a new and unusual twist. The Twins spent two weeks cruising the Baltic with acclaimed UK press photographer Bob Richardson and his team, shooting new photographs for a number of magazines and newspapers. From walking on water, hanging 40 feet from a rope, to sitting “suited and booted” in a Jacuzzi, it all happened in a flash of a camera for The Twins and Bob Richardson.

The Twins legendary dedication to their craft and relentless pursuit of perfection has placed them firmly at the forefront of today’s cruise line entertainment.

ROCKING THE SHIP! APRIL 2006

The Twins are amazing passengers onboard the Super liner Arcadia, the newest addition to the P&O fleet. Costing over 200 million pounds and carrying over 2,400 passengers The Arcadia is one of the world’s most contemporary cruise liners. Performing in the Arcadia’s impressive three tier theatre, aided by a multi national cast, The Twins are rocking the ship with one of the largest illusions shows afloat. During their initial cruise, The Twins were assisted by their own production support team. Colin Wood, The Twins’ Lighting Director, set the show up for success with a dazzling array of spectacular lights and visual effects. Uk based RNT Music Studios were also on hand, creating a powerful soundtrack to mirror The Twins’ intense illusion experience. In the words of The Twins’ Personal Assistant Joanna “the first 2 weeks have been a non stop roller coaster ride culminating with a successful and highly acclaimed opening show.” The Super liner The Arcadia.

The Twins started the New Year with a bang after being invited to perform a number of their mind-blowing illusions in the Caribbean. The Twins performed with 8 female dancers during an exclusive News Years Eve Illusion Gala show. This gig was not all work however; The Twins enjoyed the beautiful clear Caribbean waters as they scuba dived most days. The Twins used the unconventional fusion of illusions and performance art, blending them into a surprising series of larger than life magical moments. TAKE TWO! December 2005

Cameraman Rod and Gary checking out the action! The Twins, the world’s only identical twin illusionists have been on location filming a new project at Alton Towers, the UK’s most famous theme park. A film crew from Hallmark productions pulled 'the rabbit out of the hat' for The Twins as they filmed in difficult conditions. The film crew filmed entirely on the freezing ice rink at The Magic of Ice Circus of Illusion Big Top theatre. THE TWINS would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

TWINTASTIC! October 2005

Gary and Anthony enjoying falling snow! Once again The Twins' innovative illusions and unique performance have received critical acclaim throughout the entertainment industry but they have also moved one family’s hearts. A little boy called Anthony, who is 6 years old, came with his family to Alton Towers, the UK’s most famous theme park for a fun day out and watched The Twins show. That week Anthony tried to make it snow just like The Twins in their show. A few days later Anthony and his family were involved in a road traffic accident. Anthony was wearing his seat belt but hit his head on the side of the car and went into a coma. The rest of his family walked away from the accident with only cuts and bruises. After a number of weeks Anthony was still in the depths of a coma and his family tried to stimulate him with music and voices. Sadly this did not work but then Anthony’s sister remembered how much her little brother liked The Twin’s snow illusion. So the family started to tear up bits of paper around him and played The Twins snow music. Slowly his eye lids flickered and within minutes he was out of the coma, holding up his hands, trying to make it snow. “Anthony got to make it snow when he came back to Alton Towers a week ago. He now wants to become a magician or illusionist!” said Gary. “He went home very happy and we could not stop smiling for days” added Paul.

SKEWERED! September 2005

The Twins at Alton Towers unveiled another world first this month when they performed the premier performance of a brand new death defying illusion called 'Skewered', in The Magic of Ice Circus of Illusion Ice Show. Skewered, nicknamed "Brenda" – she is one hell of a beast - is the first illusion of its kind in the world! This amazing illusion features 2 lethal racks of razor sharp spikes which get slammed into The Twins who are trapped inside a small box with no possible means of escape in the centre of the ice! What happens next is truly unbelievable! The Illusion was designed by The Twins and Bill Smith at Magic Ventures, located in the entertainment capital of the world - Las Vegas. Magic Ventures design and construct illusions for the world’s leading magicians including David Copperfield, Lance Burton and of course The Twins! The Twins said “she came in the largest ATA road case that Bax Global shipping have ever shipped and a special time slot had to be agreed for her to be flown over on a cargo Boeing 747! The Twins went on to explain that “in the coming months several versions of the illusion will be performed each adding a new dimension; the trick will evolve and become even more spectacular.” During rehearsals choreographer Shelle O’Hara described the illusion as “incredible!”

Shelle O’Hara, Head Choreographer at Alton Towers, became half the women she used to be in the hands of the world’s identical twin illusionists The Twins. As Shelle’s torso became detached from her legs she exclaimed: "it’s the best diet that I have ever been on; I have lost half my weight in seconds and no low fat milk shakes or faddy diets." Shelle choreographed The Magic of Ice Circus of illusion and explained "we utilise the speed and power of movement on ice, The Twins add their bewildering illusions and it is true: here at Alton Towers The Twins are making audiences appear.” Half the women!

Ben O’Hara head of entertainments at Alton Towers England could not believe his eyes as he floated off the ice and 6 foot into the air at The Magic of Ice, Circus of Illusion theatre. “It was so strange to be levitated, the feeling is so unbelievable! The Twins have certainly caused a stir here at Alton Towers with their staggering illusions” said Ben O’Hara. The Magic of Ice Circus of Illusion is a spectacular production combining the elegance and beauty of world class skating, the mystifying world of grand illusions, and the unique innovations of The Twins.

The Twins travelled forward in time this week to the year 2065 for a BBC TV programme all about time travel. The Twins were aged thanks to the BBC’s make-up artistes. “It took over 4 hours for the make-up artistes to work their magic!” said Paul. “When they had finished we were a set of 90 year old twins” added Gary. THE TWINS teach Santa to fly! The legendary illusionists THE TWINS taught Santa to fly without reindeer and a sleigh at a press call on a Spanish beach this week. Christmas is a special time for The Twins as they were introduced into the world of magic when their parents gave them a magic set for Christmas, at the tender age of eight! Little did they realize just how influential their little gift would turn out to be! THE TWINS would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year!

The show “Seeing Double” starring The Twins has been mesmerizing and amazing cruise line passengers. This all-new unique large-scale illusion show is breaking all show records on board the 200 million pound ship. Diane Simpson, one of England’s leading Handwriting Analyst saw double after analysing The Twins' hand writing as part of her ongoing hand writing research. “The Twins have very interesting hand writing, they look so identical but their hand writing is so different but SO alike!” said Diane. LIFE AFLOAT!

The Twins, a truly unique phenomenon are at present cruising on one of the worlds most luxurious cruise liners with a new show called "SEEING DOUBLE”. An English newspaper wrote after seeing the show “SPECTACULAR!” "Seeing Double" makes entertainment history with one of the most dangerous underwater escape ever performed on the high seas. “Performing on cruise ships is great fun, nearly every day you’re in a different port” says Gary. Paul recalls “Cruising the Fjords in the middle of winter, slowly creeping though the ice capped sea, is just magical!”

HIGH SEAS

Sailing in The Twins are currently amazing passengers on board one of the worlds most luxurious cruise liners with their all new illusion show which includes one of the most dangerous under water escapes every performed on the open seas. A special designed stage unit had to be built to hold the weight of the water. With a cast of 8, the show starts with the stage erupting in fire and then the sudden appearance of The Twins. The audience is then taken on a roller coaster ride of illusions which includes a breath taking appearance, ending on an edge of your seats under water escape.

BARCELONA POLICE CHALLENGE!

Not Caught in Barcelona As The Twins took some shore leave in Barcelona they amazed local port police after being challenged to escape from their Spanish handcuffs. Police Office Senor Gaudi said “ One minute we handcuffed Paul, the next minute he was free, I have never seen anything like that before. Amazing!” The Twins are currently performing on one of the world's luxury cruise liners.

RIDING ON A CREST OF A WAVE!

At a press call to celebrate The Twins joining one of the worlds luxury cruise liners, performing their all new illusion show, which has been quoted to be “the largest show of it’s kind on the open sea.” Television and newspaper reporters were mystified as The Twins accomplished a unique illusion. Hilary Porter, one of the reporters said " the surf quite definitely wasn't up, yet Paul on his surf board with the help of his identical twin brother Gary, bobbed up and down as if on a wave as it floated in mid air over the shore line!"

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE

It was Double Trouble at ‘El Arca de Noe’ (Noah’s Ark) Wild Animal and Bird Sanctuary near Guadalest Spain this week when THE TWINS met Noah’s Ark’s very own set of twins. Steffen and Piluca are two Jaguar cubs, who celebrated their birthday when THE TWINS dropped by to feed them a birthday treat. Steffen and Piluca where born at the sanctuary and have become one of Noah’s Ark many success stories but their parents who now both live happily at the sanctuary had a very hard and curel life as performing animals in a circus act. The circus abandoned Steffen and Piluca’s parents who became “too big” for their owners. The Twins are very happy to support the sanctuary.

LOCATION, LOCATION!

The Twins on location The Twins, the worlds only Identical twin illusionists are currently on Location in Hampshire, England filming a program all about Harry Houdini. Houdini stunned audiences world wide with his awe-inspiring grand illusions and death defying, breath taking escapes. The Twins not only present the program but recreate a number of his daring escapes. Paul said “Harry Houdini found world wide fame and fortune and still some 80 years after his death, the legend lives on!” “A true star of stage and screen. Time and time again, he escaped from impossible predicaments thrilling audiences!” adds Gary.

WITH DEEPEST REGRET

We are sad to announce the death of Max Radford. On Wednesday 3rd of March 2004 Max from Red Aviation Ltd was flying back from London in an Augusta Helicopter. On final approach to Bournemouth International Airport the aircraft came down near woodland and burst into flames, killing Max and his passenger Steve Curtis. Our deepest sympathy goes to Max’s and Steve’s Family. Max will be sadly missed, he was a great mate and a very good Instructor. The Twins

Taking Max to new heights So what do THE TWINS do after appearing their $250,000.00 dollar helicopter? “We fly it” explains Gary “currently when we are in England, we are having lessons with Max Radford from Red Aviation Ltd www.redaviation.com at Bournemouth International Airport, England, to gain our private pilots licence (helicopters)."

CINDERELLA AT THE ROYAL THEATRE, NOTTINGHAM, ENGLAND

The Twins and the Legend Danny La Rue THE TWINS, the worlds only Identical twin illusionists made English Pantomime history this year by making a Real fully working Helicopter appear on an empty stage in less than 4 seconds! So that Cinderella, Alex Lovell Disney Club’s “little Alex”, could go to the ball in style. The Twins played the “Fairy Flunkeys” in one of the biggest and longest running pantomimes in U.K. The Twins performed numerous puzzling and exhilarating illusions and starred along side TV’s funny man Bobby Davro and the legendary Danny la Rue.

The Twins with the Pantomime Kids, the Pink Team from The Marcia Jones School of Dance. The Pantomime Kids are Megan, Sophie, Beth, Gabriella, Molly-May, Dominique, Lucy, Jessica-Leigh and Ella!

ITS UP, UP, AND AWAY

ITS UP, UP, AND AWAY ITS UP, UP, AND AWAY for the illusionists THE TWINS who are saying a fond farewell to Spain as they fly off to new adventures. They have made entertainment history over the 1 year and 9 months with their BRAIN-BLOWING illusions in a 2500 seat venue in Spain. The Mirror (the national English Newspaper) wrote after seening The Twins this year ”David Copperfield had better start looking over his shoulder.” Then it’s back to the U.K to act as magical consultants for a number of projects and then The Twins will appear in one of the UK’s Largest Pantomime.
